I.CO.P.’s faces and teams
In 2019, an average of 400 people worked in I.CO.P. This is a historical record, which nonetheless requires the company to seriously take responsibility for its workers and their families, in addition to fulfilling an increasingly large social role.
The ethnic origins and nationalities of colleagues working for the company and for the different branches and subsidiaries of the Group are also varied. This is an additional value enriching the Company and each employee.
As highlighted by Paolo Petrucco in one of his first editorials for the Corporate Newsletter, care for people, for their diversity and integration, has always been key for I.CO.P.:
“At the end of this 2011, taking into account the direction taken in many years of work and the need to face the problems that arise when a company constantly evolves, we can recognise how I.CO.P. has worked to align the company’s spirit with the principles of solidarity, brotherhood and mutual respect that strengthen the structure of the company. Whenever any personality traits, urgent business or the need to remedy negligent behaviour or insufficient results direct us away from this, it is important for us to recall these values.
It is interesting to see how people from different origins – Albanian, Bulgarian, Colombian, Malaysian, Polish, Romanian, German people – have been peacefully and effectively integrated at different levels – even management ones – of our Company.
They (foreign workers and employees who are now part of our organisation) are a witness to how successful integration respects the dignity of all.
Well aware of the problems and difficulties they have had to overcome and appreciating their contribution to the development of the company, I want to give them a warm “WELCOME to I.CO.P.”.”
