The I.CO.P. Group ranks 24th among Italian construction groups, a record result in the company's history. Dimensional growth has never been a primary objective for the Group and for I.CO.P. S.p.A., but it is undeniable that this result, effect of geographical expansion and sectoral diversification, constitutes a reason for satisfaction and testimony to the correctness of the strategic choices and of the path positively undertaken in recent years. Just at the beginning of the present decade I.CO.P. did not even appear in the ranking of the top 50 Italian construction companies traditionally published by Il Sole24Ore. This goal is even more significant considering the strong specialization of the Group's activities focused on subsoil engineering, on the use of trenchless technologies and maritime construction works, among which the important projects for the expansion of the port of Trieste stand out.
