After having successfully participated in the Tekla Italy Bim Awards<\/em>, I.CO.P. S.p.A. is competing with other 120 finalists<\/strong> to win the\u00a0Tekla Global BIM Awards<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

The project with which the company is competing is the Logistic Platform of Trieste, the biggest harbour work realized in Italy in the recent years. The company worked on the design, construction, maintenance and management of the Logistic Platform located between the Timber Terminal and the former Italsider plant.<\/p>\n

BIM, an innovative method and approach for planning, designing, constructing, and managing buildings and infrastructures, has been used for design and execution of the work. This technology has made design and on-site works particularly successful thanks to the creation of a highly detailed model and the optimal sharing of the model and the information it contained with the site personnel.<\/p>\n
