Everything in I.CO.P.\u2019s digital model is effective and efficient.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Since 2016, the <strong>Engineering and Design Office<\/strong>, the <strong>R&amp;D and ICT<\/strong> dpt., started working together on the implementation of the <strong>BIM<\/strong> process in the company. The <strong>Building Information Modeling<\/strong> is an innovative method and approach for <strong>planning, designing, constructing, and managing buildings and infra-structures<\/strong>, as well as on the digitalization of business processes.<\/p>\n<p>From the beginnings to the present, the <strong>corporate digitalization<\/strong> project has been marked by a constant evolution, as well as a refinement of data flows coming from both the <strong>BIM<\/strong> process and the <strong>IT platforms specifically developed<\/strong> to manage production, improve data sharing, and <strong>control quality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><div class=\"flex_column av_one_full  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding first  avia-builder-el-3  el_after_av_one_full  el_before_av_one_half  column-top-margin\" style='border-radius:0px; '><div  class='avia-image-container  av-styling-    avia-builder-el-4  avia-builder-el-no-sibling  avia-align-center '  itemprop=\"image\" itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\"  ><div class='avia-image-container-inner'><div class='avia-image-overlay-wrap'><img class='avia_image' src='https:\/\/www.icop.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Progettazione-2.png' alt='' title='' height=\"1200\" width=\"1920\"  itemprop=\"thumbnailUrl\"  \/><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<div class=\"flex_column av_one_half  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding first  avia-builder-el-5  el_after_av_one_full  el_before_av_one_half  column-top-margin\" style='border-radius:0px; '><section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '   itemprop=\"text\" ><p>The communication between Engineering and Design Office and construction sites is now even more efficient thanks to the <strong>\u201cproject collaboration\u201d cloud-based platform<\/strong>, which allows to <strong>share in real-time the BIM models<\/strong> and the related parameter data. In fact, the technicians involved in the project can easily display, share, coordinate, and comment the <strong>BIM<\/strong> models from everywhere and at any time during all the job stages. This information is therefore available via tablet at the construction site. The latter similarly sends back information, i.e. on co-activities or non-compliances, establishing direct and quick communication between the headquarters and the construction site. Many data are produced through the use of <strong>modelling software<\/strong>, IT platforms, and site machinery as well.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, several <strong>rotary drills and TBMs<\/strong> are equipped with remote <strong>data exchange systems<\/strong>, therefore allowing to monitor production even from a technical and maintenance point of view, as well as to <strong>effectively manage production data<\/strong>. These data are implemented in a dedicated section of the <strong>corporate Intranet<\/strong>.
