I.CO.P. has a long experience in all traditional constructing methods: steel piles and reinforced concrete slabs, precast reinforced concrete segments (for construction of segmental bridges) or those with precast reinforced concrete piles and their slabs; but since the end of the 60s the entreprise is a leader in Italy in the construction of one-span precast reinforced concrete bridges and viaducts, constructed with the temperature changes method.

This solution, optimal for lights up to 45 meters, provides the in-situ jet of the entire section of the scaffolding and it permits the construction of a continue beam with lengths of some hundred meters, allowing the realization of long lasting homogeneous structures.

After the first experiences, I.CO.P. has developed this technology, modifying and adapting in order to meet different and critical constructing demands, by ensuring that the geometric and constructive flexibility, in addition to the aesthetic pleasantness of the line, become the characterizing element not only of the construction itself but also of the context in which it was inserted.

Working in very difficult site conditions and with extremely short execution times are also distinctive elements that have led I.CO.P. become a reliable company for importants clients such as Anas S.p.A. and the Italian Civil Protection Departement.

I.CO.P. S.p.A. has also worked for the structural restoration of deteriorated bridges and viaducts, by the consolidation of foundations, the restoration of constructive elements such as piers, piles and decking segments, with numerous project solutions proposed in order to solve specific functional demands.
